HIBISCUS STABLES INTRODUCES CLAIMING PARTNERSHIPS FOR NEW YORK CIRCUIT
Somers, New York-based company teams with trainer Chris Englehart to offer claiming partnerships for NYRA circuit.
Somers, NY, January 2, 2012 – Hibiscus Stables has announced the introduction of claiming partnerships for the NYRA circuit. All claiming horses are to be trained by trainer Chris Englehart.
NYRA is now offering record purses and the outlook is extremely encouraging with distinct possibilities of even higher purses in the near-term future. Claiming horses allows instant entry into the game and instant access to these purses. Hibiscus Stables has teamed with longtime horseman and claiming expert Chris Englehart. Chris is the perennial leading trainer at Finger Lakes and he recently established a permanent string at NYRA. He came within one victory of tying the modern-day NYRA record for consecutive triumphs by a single trainer with seven straight wins at Aqueduct. Chris is a multiple stakes winning trainer. He's won over 3000 races and earned over $30,000,000 in his career.

By offering claiming partnerships in New York we open an immediate path to horses entering races and competing for these purses. Therefore we have the added option and additional flexibility to shuffle horses back and forth to race at either venue as needed and as opportunities present themselves with little logistical difficulty.”

Hibiscus Stables is currently assembling members for new partnerships for the 2012 season. The horses acquired for these partnerships are yearlings, 2-year-olds, and claiming partnerships and will be raced on the NYRA circuit including Belmont, Aqueduct, and Saratoga..
