Our Sweet Harpie breezed on Wednesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 51.20 at Delaware Park. That work was 48 of 56 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. Steve said, "She didn't work as well as she usually does. She seemed to be off. Either the heat or possibly her stomach was bothering her. She should still be OK to enter tomorrow but we'll keep an eye eon her."
Steve will enter Our Sweet Harpie to the Maiden Special Weight going 5 1/2 furlongs at Delaware Park on July 15.

Our Sweet Harpie breezed on Wednesday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 48.60 at Delaware Park. That work was the bullet of 22 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. Steve said, "She worked very well this morning. I worked her in company with another horse, an older male, and she outworked him. He tried to come up on her and as soon as he brushed against him she dug in. She's a very nice filly, very big, very professional. I think she's ready to go. I'm going to begin to look for a race for her."
Steve will breeze Our Sweet Harpie on a 7-day breeze schedule preparing her for her debut.
