Nonno Joe breezed on Monday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 50.00 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 28 of 36 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He worked fine this morning. It was just a leg-stretcher. I've been entering him for a week but he race doesn't fill. They didn't bring it back so we're going back to the drawing board."
Rudy will keep Nonno Joe fresh as he looks for a spot for his next race.

Nonno Joe breezed on Saturday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 48.86 over the Belmont Park Training Track. That work was 9 of 25 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "He breeze well. I'm entering him today to the Maiden Special Weight next week. I've entering him a couple of times but the race keeps getting brough back."
Rudy will enter Nonno Joe to the Maiden Special Weight going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Aqueduct on April 24.
