Buona Salute is entered to run in Friday’s 3rd race at The Meadowlands which is a $25,00 Maiden Claiming race going 5 furlongs on the turf filles two-years-old. She drew post position 8 and jockey Jose Gomez is named to ride. Gomes currently has 51 wins and an 8% winning percentage for the year.
Buona Salute is currently 6-1 in the Daily Racing Form morning line. One DRF handicapper selects him as his second choice in the race.

Buona Salute breezed on Sunday working 4 furlongs on the dirt in 51.44 at Saratoga. That work was 12 of 12 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Rudy Rodriguez after the breeze. He said, "She worked well. I worked her nice and easy. I might enter her tomorrow for a race later in the week."
Rudy will prepare Buona Salute for her next race which could be the Maiden Special Weight going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Aqueduct on September 15.
