Zoomer breezed on Sunday working 5 furlongs in 1:00.44 over the Belmont Park main track. That work was 2nd out of 18 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. Steve said, “He worked very nicely this morning. I’ve got him nominated to The Flat Out Stake next week and I think I’m going to run him there.”
Steve will point Zoomer to The Flat Out Stake $100,000 going 1 3/8 miles at Aqueduct on April 30.
Zoomer breezed on Sunday working 4 furlongs in 49.01 over the Belmont Park training track. That work was the bullet out of 20 at the distance.
We spoke with trainer Steve Klesaris after the breeze. Steve said, “He worked very nicely. He’s doing great. His stake yesterday didn’t come off the grass so he didn’t run. We have a few options for him in a few weeks.”
Steve will train Zoomer preparing him for his next race which could be The Flat Out Stake $100,000 going 1 3/8 miles at Aqueduct on April 30.
